Myrtle Beach Bands … Other? The official PLR newsletter? No way! Way!

Myrtle Beach Trip ‘08 With the orchestra, band, choir and dance team of Howard High school spending 4 days (24th – 26th), little happened here at Purple Label Records, considering the majority of staff were there. Room 817 (the PLR room, if you will) put together a Risk map and pieces, playing an epic game for two days, one going late into the morning. On a side note, Monster tastes like shit. Overall, the outing was a success for each of the groups; however, speculation is that one pays for an award… seeing that each group is in its own category, providing essentially no competition for first place. Oh well. Goatse Armada, Sour Plums and more! Goatse Armada could be reforming as a strict jam band only. More development will occur after primary founder, Dom, graduates high school. Co-founder Michael may be returning. Michael’s solo project, Sour Plums, has taken a hit for the worse. A wall has been found, after recording of Tristesse, due to other priorities. A rough list of songs has been established, many being “demo1, demo2” etcetera. Recording may start again come May or June. Release could be in/at the end of the summer. … Other? Michael turns 17 today! Yay? As do several others, including… Rachel and Michelle Happy Birthday! Vegetrainpalooza is looking to be postponed, due to no location! Help us by securing a location!
